Regional Sales Manager

, ideally located in NRW, to support our growth.



  • Leadership and management of a 3-person team of area sales managers with their portfolio of clients by developing strategy, tactics, sales plans to ensure profitable growth
  • Strong orthopedic / spine expertise
  • Achieve defined sales budgets and provide sales forecast
  • Development, implementation and communication of innovative and sustainable sales strategies and goals
  • Maximizing new business development opportunities
  • Manage the team to ensure that Spineart complies with regulations and the team follows internal processes; ensure reporting
  • Accompany the team in sales development, product marketing and contracting
  • Acquire new customers and maintain existing ones
  • Develop relationships with customers
  • Introduce the Spineart product lines and provide training to medical personnel on our products and in certain occassions directly support surgical teams on the use of our products in the operating room
  • Negotiations with Purchasing Groups
  • Represent the company at national and international workshops, conferences, conventions
  • Ensure that the company image is developed and maintained as per the corporate philosophy and directives
  • Assist and work close together with the German Sales Director in implementing Spineart’s German marketing and sales strategy
  • Manage and optimize hospital inventory consignments
  • Provide a structured reporting and forecasting as per the company requirements
  • Report to National Sales Director Germany



  • Strong commercial experience in the medical sector, ideally in orthopaedic / neurosurgery or spine
  • Expected education: business education background e.g.Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field
  • Several years of professional experience in sales and/or marketing in the medical technology industry
  • Knowledge about the spine market and beeing confident in operating rooms
  • Sound experience in dealing with opinion leaders
  • You work independently and organized; with analytical and strategic thinking
  • Solid leadership experience with field staff and knowledge how to interact with a team in a desire for cooperation
  • Very high social and communication skills and professional abilities in English
  • Reporting Skills, Analyzing Information, Data Entry Skills, Financial Skills
  • You have good knowledge and command of IT tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ideally based in NRW
  • Good team player with positive thinking mentality, willing to develop
  • High flexibility to travel
