Area Sales Manager,
ideally located north of the M25, the territory will encompass Buckinghamshire, Cambridge, Oxford, and Warwickshire with the ideal candidate being patient focussed and with a strong desire and ability to create plans that outgrow the marketplace.
JOB PROFILE:
- Developing a focused business plan that captures strategy, tactics and sustainable sales activities to ensure profitable growth with the territory
- Achieve defined sales budgets and provide sales forecast
- Maximizing new business development opportunities whilst maintaining existing business
- Develop broad “partnership” style relationships with customers at all levels
- Introduce the Spineart portfolio and support adoption with relevant training to medical personnel and surgical teams
- Support surgeons and surgical teams on the effective use of our products in the operating room
- Negotiates with all stakeholders, both clinical and non-clinical, within the territory
- Manage and optimize hospital inventory consignments
- Works with the UK team to ensure case cover is optimised
- Represent the company at national and international workshops, conferences, conventions
- Ensure that Spineart complies with all regulations and follows internal processes
- Strong orthopaedic / spine expertise
- Report to National Sales Director UK
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven commercial experience in the medical sector, ideally in spinal surgery but will consider orthopaedic or neurosurgery experience
- Consistent over achiever of budget
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and behaviors
- Several years of professional experience in a sales role within the medical technology industry
- Confident in giving instruction to complex cases in operating rooms
- Experience in dealing with key opinion leaders
- Can demonstrate that you can work independently and organized; with analytical and strategic thinking and yet still be a team player
- Very high social and communication skills
- Highly developed planning skills
- A positive thinking mentality, willing to develop and take on new challenges
