SGS – 2021
The 20th annual meeting of the Swiss Society of Spinal Surgery was held virtually this year.
During the congress, surgeons were able to watch live surgery performed by PD. DR. Gianluca Maestretti using our New Secured Lumbar Anterior Cage, SCARLET® AL-T.
The implant was developed using the company’s flagship 3D printed Ti- LIFE Technology, a titanium bone-like structure that supports bone cell adhesion and encourages bone ingrowth. A number of design features make SCARLET® AL-T unique: the cages feature internal tubes that help to prevent screw misalignment, the screws are designed with a triple lead screw thread and sharp threaded end-tip eliminating the need to drill or awl, and the screw anti-backout system provides both tactile and visual feedback.
