Last week, the Spineart team was a proud partner of the EANS Advanced Course in Spinal Surgery held in Munich, Germany.

The 18 faculty members from around the world provided a high level of scientific content, which included hands-on demonstrations.

Spineart supports and shares the EANS’s vision of knowledge exchange between surgeons, and will be proud to participate in future events.

Spineart sponsored its first two-day course on cervical approaches and instrumentation in Madrid on November 10th.

Dr. Felix Tome, the head of Orthopedics from Hospital General de Villalba, joined by other professors, instructed 27 attendees on various topics and techniques such as ACDF, TDR, Corpectomy and Cervical posterior instrumentation.

On November 9th in Madrid, Spineart sponsored the third course on basic spinal instrumentation, which included both lectures and a cadaver lab session.

Dr. Luis Esparragoza from Hospital Gregorio Marañón served as Chairman and 27 spine specialists from Spain and Latin-America were in attendance.d

Spineart today announced the successful completion of the first surgery using the Juliet Ti-Life Lateral Lumbar Cage. The surgery was performed by Dr. Jonathan Hyde in Aventura, Florida. The device utilizes Ti-Life Technology, an enhanced algorithm for additive manufacturing (3D printing) resulting in titanium cages with a bone-like matrix. Ti-Life structures feature interconnected pores which may promote bone ingrowth, reduced overall density for optimal visualization, and a Modulus of Elasticity closer to cancellous bone than PEEK.
