FIRST EUROPEAN SURGERY PERFORMED WITH THE NEW JULIET®Ti OL CAGE USING THE INSERT ROTATE TECHNIQUE
Pr. Dr. El Hindy, St.Christphorus Krankenhaus GmbH (Werne, Germany) performed the first European JULIET® Ti OL I/R surgery during which he did a 4 levels fusion from L2 to S1 using the Insert/Rotate Technique for the 2 lower levels. Pr. Dr. El Hindy noted that – “To add sufficient lordosis the “Insert/Rotate cage” offers a clear advantage. It is intuitive and very easy to use and I was positively surprised how smooth it could be rotated”.
JULIET®Ti OL I/R is designed to provide a straightforward solution in posterior surgery to add lordosis without overdistracting the disc. Ti-LIFE Technology is a structure that mimics the geometry of trabecular bone and is designed to promote bone in-growth. JULIET®Ti OL I/R features an overall reduction in material density, that optimizes medical imaging when making postoperative evaluations and is available in 6° and 12° lordosis.

UNILATERAL BIPORTAL ENDOSCOPY USING PERLA® TL MIS & JULIET® OL
On December 1st, 2021, Dr Pellet from Bordeaux, France, performed a Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion (TLIF) surgery with our JULIET® OL Cage and the new PERLA® TL MIS system using the Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy (UBE) technique.
Dr Pellet commented “PERLA® TL MIS is perfectly adapted to the Minimal Invasive Surgery such as the TLIF Endoscopy UBE technique.”
PERLA® TL MIS is designed to provide a reliable and efficient solution in Minimally Invasive Surgery and is the natural extension of PERLA®, the new Spineart Posterior Cervico-Thoraco-lumbar platform.

DWG 2021
It was a pleasure to meet you again in person at the DWG Congress in Münster! The whole Spineart team wishes to thank the attendees, the DWG and the organizers for the these three beautiful and successful days.
CERVICAL ACADEMY
The Spineart Cervical Academy was recently held in Coventry, United Kingdom. This international Academy gathered 5 experienced faculty members and participants around the discuss of treatment paradigms and demonstration of surgical approaches associated with the cervical spine. The two day course involved debates, presentations and case studies on the role of arthroplasty vs. fusion and the optimal surgical approach in treating cervical stenosis followed by sessions in the cadaver lab to practice anterior, SCARLET® AL-T and BAGUERA® C, and posterior PERLA® cervical fusion surgery using Spineart instrumentation.

FRENCH-SWISS SPINE SUMMIT
The Spineart Team is delighted to have organized the French-Swiss Spine Summit after months without seeing each other. We would like to thank the faculty and all the participants for the high quality exchanges around navigation, artificial intelligence, virtual reality and anterior and lateral approaches in deformity.
See you next year!
SCARLET® AL-T
SCARLET® AL-T is Spineart’s secured anterior lumbar cage, designed to optimize interbody fusion and featuring the Ti-LIFE technology and hyperlordotic options. Over 3000 patients have been treated with SCARLET® AL-T… read below what our surgeons are saying:
“The 20 Degree SCARLET® AL-T implant achieved excellent endplate apposition in this patient’s degenerative L5/S1 Disc Space and is a good addition to the sizing range.” – Dr Nova Thani, Australia
“I liked the simplicity and ease of use of SCARLET® AL-T which made the procedure safe and effective. Self-drilling screws were fantastic and now the patient is painless and walking. It has advantages compared with other cages on the market”. – Dr Nelson Sopalda, Panama
“SCARLET® AL-T is very versatile, it smoothly glides into the intervertebral disc space, avoiding too much stress for the endplates. The cage looks really good on X-ray, giving surgeon and patient a clear view of the pathology and the surgical solution adopted.” – Dr Francesco Caiazzo, Spain
