FP&A Analyst

Your main responsibilities will be :

Financial Analysis: (50% of working time)

  • Perform in-depth analyses of the company’s financial performance by examining historical data, current trends, and future forecasts.
  • Identify variances between actual results and budget targets, providing detailed explanations and recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports and dashboards for management and internal stakeholders, highlighting key financial performance indicators.

Budget planning: (15% of working time)

  • Participate in the preparation of the company’s annual budget in collaboration with the various departments.
  • Analyze proposed budgets to ensure that they are realistic, aligned with strategic objectives and within financial constraints.

Profitability Analysis: (25% of working time)

  • Assess the profitability of products, projects and strategic initiatives by analyzing costs, revenues and margins.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize profitability and efficiently allocate resources based on expected performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce costs across the company.

Communication and Collaboration: (10% of working time)

  • Proactively communicate financial results, analyses, and recommendations to internal stakeholders, including management and department managers.
  • Work closely with other FP&A team members to ensure consistency of data and analysis.
  • Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives involving financial and budgetary analysis.

 

Requirements :

  • At least 3 years‘ previous experience in a financial analysis or budget planning role.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling tools, such as Excel, as well as ERP and BI systems.
  • Ability to work in French and English
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present financial analyses clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • University degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
