On May 28, Dr. Oscar Godino, neurosurgeon at the Hospital de Beltvitge in Barcelona, graciously hosted Dr. Pasqualini and Dr. Carvalho from Sao Paolo, Brazil for a MIS surgical session. During this peer to peer visit, ROMEO®2 and the JULIET®Ti TL Transforaminal Titanium cage were used.
SPINEART was a proud sponsor of the 13th Hands-on Course on Neurosurgical Approaches held on June 5-7th at the Universidad de Valencia. Among the faculty was Dr. Sven Eicker from the University Hospital Hamburg.
Students were given the opportunity to practice various cervical techniques using SPINEART products at four hands-on surgical stations. Those products included: Tryptik® LA, PERLA® and the anterior cervical solutions Scarlet® AC-T, Tryptik® CA, and Baguera® C.
SPINEART was a proud participant of the two-day Congreso SILACO-GEER, held in Barcelona, Spain last week. The event kicked off with a wonderful networking opportunity; an exclusive dinner held at the art museum of Catalonia. The following day, upwards of 500 surgeons had the opportunity to learn more about SPINEART’S products at the hands-on work stations dedicated to ROMEO®2 MIS, PERLA® (Cervical), BAGUERA® L (Lumbar disc prosthesis) and our Ti-LIFE Technology.
On June 3rd-5th, Spineart in Spain had the privilege of hosting Dr. Pollack and Dr. Morga from Cracow, for a series of peer-to-peer visitation surgeries. During the three days, the surgeons had the opportunity to observe cervical and MIS posterior lumbar approaches, as well as scoliosis correction.
More than a third of the attending surgeons participated in their first Spineart Event! The program included case presentations, two debates, a discussion on economics, and some surgeons brought “pending” cases seeking audience input. One surgeon commented “Once again, the organization, the format, the venue, and most importantly, the attendees made the whole experience both educational and enjoyable”.
The Spineart Team is proud to share the success of our Advanced Cervical Academy, held in Geneva on May 2nd and 3rd. Over the two-day course, 23 participants from 11 countries shared their experiences with esteemed faculty members. Special thanks go to our two Chairmen, Professor Vincent Pointillart (France) and Associate Professor, Marc Dreimann (Germany), for sharing their knowledge and technical skills with our attendees.
